Again, I haven't listened to the whole tour, in fact I listened to much less of this tour than I did the last one, I think but here are some suggestions.

One of the best things about the tour has been that Jay Lane left and they're down to a single drummer and sound tighter as a result. It doesn't hurt that Joe Russo is a total beast, of course. Phil and he have been playing really well together and it shows in this show from early in the tour

The first set is relatively lackluster but there is some great stuff in the second set. In particular, the unique jam they play in Shakedown starting at the 9 minute mark and continuing into a fantastic Caution, the introduction to which is flooring, and then follow things up with a powerful Jack Straw.

This show speaks for itself. Probably the best night of the tour.

This was a pretty cool show. The first set is composed completely of songs written in 1970 or earlier. The Cream Puff War > Viola Lee could take the enamel off your teeth. The second set is a bit more laid back but is enjoyable for the extremely mellow vibes. The Althea is good and the Terrapin Suite>Stella>UJB is very much worth a listen.

Good highlights in this show as well. The opening trio of songs is very nice. Then a stellar Morning Dew and Unbroken Chain in the middle of the second set.

I also have heard the the Gathering of the Vibes show is really good, though I haven't found the time to sit down with it yet. And then finally the Red Rocks show from the 24th is pretty excellent as well.

I love the Truckin'->New Speedway, Casey Jones (a throwaway song by the Dead, but a really fun set closer when Furthur does it) and then the of course the big Scarlet>Fire sandwich in the second set.

Your recommendations for the earlier shows worked well . I Got some complete shows, and made some highlights cds oft others .
They played here ,up in LA, but :one, I didn't have anyone who was interested, and two, still recovering from a hernia surgery in July , and the Dentist is robbing me . What I have spent on dental alone this year, I could have seen the whole tour !
